Nokia Oro
Nokia recently announced a new Symbian^3 (Updated to Anna) handset that is actually a (luxuriously) modified C7-00.
This indicates the dearth of designing personnel in the company (perhaps they all have been deputed to work on WP7 series of handsets that will debut soon). Looks like Nokia wants to maximize profits from the old, dyeing hen (Symbian) that laid golden eggs for it for so many years.Oro (RM-749) is built using premium materials like gold (18 carat plating) and sapphire. Back of the phone has been handcrafted from fine leather. UI (theme and icons) has been given a golden hue matching the exteriors. If we ignore the looks it is the same old Nokia C7, be it the form factor, overall design or specifications/features.
